Skiing amidst numerous 3000 m high mountains
A whole-year round ski area at altitudes of more than 3000 m is found on the glacier of Val Senales.
Within 6 minutes a fairly big gondola takes you up to the glacier, from where an 8 km long ski run takes you down to the valley again. Besides the cable car there are a total of 12 ski lifts, spread across 35 km of ski runs. The ski area is ideally-suited to beginners and advanced and even national ski teams come to Val Senales for practising. Cross-country skiers can look forward to 3 runs with a length of 17 km, while the little ones will have fun at the “Pinocchio” ski kindergarten. Moreover, the ski area features a 3.3 km long toboggan run, a snow park for snowboarders and several snowshoeing trails.
A free ski bus takes you from Lana, Marlengo and Silandro directly to the ski area and a shuttle connects even Stuttgart/Germany with Val Senales!
