Schwemmalm - Val d'Ultimo

Skiing, snowboarding, cross-country and tobogganing at altitudes of up to 2,600 m

Lifts taking you up to 2,600 m and a breath-taking view of the surrounding 3,000 m high mountains - this is waiting for you at the ski area Schwemmalm in Val d'Ultimo.

Carefully-groomed ski runs bring you down to the valley or to one of the idyllic mountain huts. Three ski lifts and a smaller one for beginners take you to 18 km of runs and slopes. Whether you prefer ski touring or cross-country skiing, here you will find lots of opportunities. Obviously there is also a toboggan run, an ice rink and a curling sheet. Beginners might ask for the local ski school and the kids are taken care of at the “Bärenhöhle” ski kindergarten.

For all those travelling without car there is a bus connecting Merano with San Pancrazio, from where a free ski bus departs towards the ski area Schwemmalm. A ski rental service is provided.

Whether you do skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing or tobogganing, here in Val d'Ultimo winter is still the way it was a hundred years ago.
