A family-friendly skiing paradise at the bottom of the Altissima mountain

A fairy-tale like spot rich in traditions and culture is found at the end of the Val Passiria valley. But this isn't all, as here you find one of the most snow-reliable ski areas all over South Tyrol: the small but mighty ski area Plan.

From early December to late April one thing is guaranteed in lovely Plan: lots of snow. 4 ski lifts and gondolas take you directly from your hotel to some 5.5 km of perfectly-groomed ski runs. And soon they say it will be more! Cross-country skiers can look forward to the 12 km long run near to the Lazinseralm hut or the 5 km long Innerhütt run, where twice a week you can go skiing even at night-time. Completely new is the local snow park, featuring a kink box, mail box, kink rail and much more. And what about curling, broomball or ice skating with disco music at the natural ice rink? The little ones can look forward to a sunny beginner slope, ski classes, hilarious children programmes and a toboggan run. Obviously there is a toboggan run also for the tall ones, which is known to host even world cups!

Whether you explore Plan by horse, on sleighs, with snowshoes or simply by foot, here you will find beautiful trails amidst sparkling white sceneries. Twice a day a free shuttle brings you from the village of Saltusio directly to the ski area.

By the way: Ice climbers can look forward to marvellous icefalls and an artificial waterfall for practising!
