Like the Waalweg of Caines, also the Waalweg of Marlengo passes along an original irrigation canal, which has been built to water the cultivated meadows and fields. There is hardly no altitude difference and this is why it is perfect for a hike together with your family! Featuring a lenght of 12 km it is also the longest "Waalweg" in South Tyrol. It starts at Tel and snakes its way above Foresta, Marlengo and Cermes and it ends at Lana.

Along this impressive path you can stop whenever you want, as there are numerous taverns which offer local delicacies. Furthermore some interesting sights are waiting for you... one of these is Monteleone Castle above Cermes. The Waalweg of Marlengo takes you across chestnut forests and sunny vineyards. Furthermore you get useful information while walking...
