The climbing gym Rockarean in Merano is a real hot spot for those who love vertical sports.

Rockarena, this how the climbing gym of Merano is a paradise for those who love climbing and an attraction both for inhabitants and visitors. Including a surface area of 730 sqm and a height of 14 m, there are about 100 routes ranging from 3a to 8b, as well as 270 sqm for those who prefer bouldering. For beginners, there are also top rope routes.

Moreover the rockarena provides a comprehensive programme regarding courses, a meeting point and a fitness area. Also several climbing events are staged in this climbing gym. In this case a climbing tower might temporarily be closed for the public. In summer the climbing gym remains closed. Climbing is only allowed with chalk balls.

By the way: the offer also includes courses for kids and adults, afternoons for kids, offers for schools and children’s birthdays.
