Grape Festival

The third weekend in October is dedicated to the grape festival of Merano. Highlight of this festival is the colourful parade on Sunday.

One of the most important harvest festivals of South Tyrol is approaching, which is the Grape Festival of Merano, a festival that has been taking place since the year 1886. The absolute highlight and a real must for all the guests and visitors of Merano, is the colourful parade with its lushly decorated carriages and music bands on Sunday.

Also a varied fringe programme is offered and music bands, folclore groups and marching bands are going to participate in the parade, coming not only from South Tyrol, but also from other surrounding regions. Enjoy the festival atmosphere in the historic town of Merano from October 15 to 17, don’t miss this great harvest festival!
