The convenient Val Venosta train makes cycling even more pleasant.

The beautiful Val Venosta valley and the the surroundings can be perfectly discovered on a bycicle and the Val Venosta train makes this adventure even more pleasant. This train connects the city of Merano with the locality of Malles in Val Venosta. Six stations in this area offer bicycle rentals: Merano, Naturno, Laces, Silandro, Spondigna e Malles. Moreover there are rental stations at the station of Bolzano Sud and at Passo Resia, which are open from mid June.

At every bicycle hire you can rent and return bikes and also a helmet is offered. For your little ones you can also hire children’s seats for your bike and also special tandem bikes. By the way: the so called “EventCard” includes a daily train ticket for the route Merano-Malles and a bike rental with helmet. This ticket is available at the bicycle hires, at ticket machines, in Val Venosta tourist offices as well at the selling points in the valley, labelled with the logo of the local linked transport system.
