Landesfuerstliche Burg

Prince’s Castle

Of princes, historical arms and life in late medieval times.

Built by archduke Sigismund of Austria right behind the local townhall, the small but mighty castle actually dates back to the 15th century. Worth seeing are the chapel with a fascinating 16th century fresco, the historical arms as well as a collection of historical instruments.
