It is located at the road to Passo del Rombo. The bunker, which has been hewn in stone, was meant to protect from assaults of the enemy coming from north. Even if Hitler and Mussolini made a friendship pact, this agreement has never been that deep that they could not think themselves safe. Nevertheless the bunker has never been used.
The Bunker Mooseum provides information about mining, information about the highest located minery of Europe, its road to success and its situation before closure. Moreove you can gather information about ice age, the beginning of life and much more. The village of Moso in Passiria is presented in its original state and also in the present day situation.
Also the largest nature park of South Tyrol, which is the Gruppo di Tessa Nature Park, is one of the topics in the Mooseum. By the way, the ibex, which is the symbol of this nature park, is presented live in a compound. A museum which, in a symbolic way, is able to impress visitors from north and south.
