The unique mix of Mediterranean and Tyrolean cuisine makes every dish in South Tyrol a culinary delight. And if served with one of the high-quality wines it is even more tasteful. Moreover there are numerous events focusing on the cuisine, such as asparagus weeks, gastronomic weeks, strawberry weeks, apple festivals and many more.
What we particularly recommend is a is a Toerggele evening in the period of time between the beginning of September to November. Some local restaurants offer traditional cuisine and of course roasted chestnuts and the new wine. An adventure not only for your palate.
