Grissiano

Grissiano is located above Nalles at an altitude of 800 m asl.

Grissiano is located in the south of Prissiano at an altitude of 839 m asl and represents an oasis of calm and relaxation. What is worth visiting in the village is the S. Giacomo church (922 m), which is famous for the first illustration of the Dolomites. Of great interest is also the exterior façade as well as the statue of Jesus Christ, that is flanked by the Madonna and John Baptist. The S. Giacomo church can be visited every day from 9 am to 5 pm.

Grissiano is also a great place for walks: a trail snaking across the forests connects the village to Prissiano and also Caprile can be reached on foot. The ruins of Holz Castle are within easy reach, too. What we recommend is a walk from Grissiano to Sirmiano di Sopra, plan 1,5 hours to reach Sirmiano.
