Nals Sirmian Nalles Sirmiano di Sotto

Sirmiano

Sirmiano is located above Nalles and is also called Sirmiano di Sotto.

Passing by Castel Schwanburg and taking the road on the right, you reach the locality of Sirmiano, also called Sirmiano di Sotto, which is a village that up to the year 1964 was part of the municipality of Tesimo. Located at 700 m asl in the west above Nalles, this village mainly consists of farmsteads that are spread all over the slope, nestling in the heart of vineyards and orchards.

On a rock spur above the village, there is Castel Bavaro, constructed by the aristocrats Von Payr. What we also recommend is a visit to the little Santo Cuore church, built in 1843, which boasts a wooden baroque altar.

A typical product is the Sirmiano wine, which is produced in this place mainly with Pinot Bianco grapes. As far as walks are concerned, you can pleasantly reach Gaido on foot.
